ID stands for identity.
For ID Krav Maga, identity is the method, judgment, teaching and responsibility that remain consistent across instructors, countries and fields of training.
Founded and led by Ilya Dunsky, IDKM brings Krav Maga back to its original purpose while developing it for the realities of today. His experience in civilian, military and instructor training forms the technical and educational foundation of the organization.
IDKM connects instructors and partners through a shared technical direction, teaching methodology and professional standard.
Across civilian training, instructor education, professional programs and international seminars, one principle remains unchanged:

A Practical System
ID Krav Maga is built on three core pillars: Self-Defense, Combat & Fighting, and Third-Party Protection.
Its methodology develops technique, judgment and adaptability through progressive, realistic training. The objective is not simply to reproduce movements, but to understand when, why and how to act.
Returning to the Original Purpose
IDKM brings Krav Maga back to its original purpose: a practical system created to solve real problems efficiently.
This does not mean refusing development or attempting to keep the system frozen in the past. It means ensuring that every technique, training method and teaching decision remains connected to function, judgment and reality.
Threats, environments and professional demands continue to evolve. The system must evolve with them without losing the reason it was created.
International Presence
IDKM’s international presence is built through carefully selected instructors and partners operating under one methodology, one teaching direction and one professional standard.
Its instructors are developed beyond the limits of a single school or country. Their pathway may include advanced training, work in different languages and experience across civilian, military, law-enforcement and professional environments.
When required, they travel, teach and represent the organization internationally, carrying the same technical and educational direction wherever they operate.
The network grows selectively. Representation is not based only on location, but on the ability to understand, apply and uphold the standard.
